Wednesday’s Reload contained some shocking news. These allegations could possibly derail President Biden’s selection to lead the ATF. The confirmation of David Chipman as an agent is in serious jeopardy due to alleged racist comments.

Allusions to Racism by David Chipman Spark Controversy
Stephen Gutowski reported that multiple ATF agents claimed there was a complaint against Chipman. According to reports, Chipman said these comments while he was an ATF agent. According to The Reload, these veteran agents heard Chipman disparage black ATF agents in order to promote them.
According to The Reload, a current ATF official stated that “He made some comments that were surprised by the number African Americans who have made it onto a particular promotional list.” “So, his insinuation that they had cheated was that they had to be cheating. This is quite despicable.
According to The Reload, a second ATF agent confirmed that he heard the story. The Reload found multiple sources that claimed Chipman made racist remarks toward Black agents.
A former agent said that the one he was referring to had to do with the assessment center. This would have been to be promoted. “If he made those statements as a supervisor, somebody would have to file a complaint against him.”
Did ATF Knowly Keep a Racist at the ATF?
The Reload reported that Chipman’s time in Detroit was ended by the complaint. The story suggests that Chipman was simply moved to another position by the agency, rather than being disciplined and made public.
The agent said that he left Detroit because of that. “He didn’t leave Detroit on the best terms. His reputation was that his rudeness was a problem.”
Alarmingly, agents also admitted to The Reload that they had great mistrust for the director’s leadership.
The Reload was told by the ex-agent that there are “a few guys on our job that everybody hates”. “There are a few guys in my job that everyone loves. There are also guys in the middle. Chipman is not able to read on anyway. I don’t know if Chipman ever wrote a case. My family is always scratching their heads when I talk to them. Nobody can pinpoint who he is, where he hung out, and who he was friends with.
