Apex Tactical Specialties just released the MRAT Comp, a new compensator designed for the FNX-45. It reduces muzzle rise, recoil, and trigger rise by a significant amount. They also offer barrels, triggers, and many other components to fit a variety handguns. Apex’s latest upgrade is sure to attract your attention if you own an FN FNX45. Apex’s MRAT Comp is a compensator that Apex claims can lower the muzzle rise of FNX-45 by 40-60 percent. It reduces both the felt recoil and muzzle rise. Apex tested the MRAT with a variety of ammunition, both very lightweight and +P rounds. The MRAT resulted in a 40-60 percent reduction in muzzle rise. Each kit also comes with a replacement captive spring guide rod assembly for reliable cycling. Two brass-tipped set screws are included along with some threadlocker. Apex claims the MRAT Comp is easy to mount. They also provide video instructions.
