June 23rd 2023For three years in a row, the MidwayUSA Foundation has provided cash grants to support the certification and training of youth shooting sport coaches. This year, 52 cash awards were made for a total payout amounting to $250,000. These grants will help regional and state youth agencies train about 1,625 youth sports shooting coaches. The MidwayUSA Foundation awards Coach Training Grants annually. This can benefit up to 30,000 youth shooters. The grant cycle starts on February 1 and ends on March 1. We can’t thank you enough for your support!” MidwayUSA Foundation, in addition to funding nearly 2,800 youth shooter teams, also funds 80 state and national youth sports organizations via Agency and Donor Designated Endowments. These organizations, such as SCTP, SASP ATA, ACUI NCSSAA and others, are eligible for Coach Training Grants. Youth shooting teams who are interested in certifying additional coaches should contact their local, regional or national organization.
