There is no doubt that both rounds have their place. Even though each round is more costly than.22 LR ammo, they are still cheaper than standard centerfire ammunition. Bear Creek Arsenal BC-15 HMR Rifles.17 caliber
The line includes five models (only four shown because Bear Creek Arsenal does not have photos of the fifth). Three of the five models are available with 16-inch barrels and two with 20-inch barrels. The heavy barrel design allows for excellent recoil management with the rimfire.17 HMR round, which has a light recoil.
Each rifle has a M4 flat-top upper receiver with a 15-inch MLOK rail to attach accessories. All five rifles use the BCA Bolt Carrier Group with E9310 bolt construction. They also include a right side charging handle (Gen 2, Patent pending). The uppers are paired with a BCA MIL SPEC standard or forged AR-15 Lower, depending on the model.
The rifles come with free-float barrels that are available in 16- or-20-inch lengths. They have a 1:9 thread pitch and a twist rate of 1:9. The suppressors are easily attached to the flash hider that is already included.
The 20-inch barrels are made of 416R stainless and have a stainless finish. The 16-inch barrels, on the other hand, are made of 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium with a Black Nitride finish or Parkerized finish depending on the model.
Bear Creek offers complete uppers in.17 HMR for those who already own an AR-15. Each of the 7.5-inch, 10.5 inch, 16-inch, and 20-inch options includes the 15-inch MLOK rail. They also include everything listed above, plus the buffer spring and buffer.
The complete uppers are shipped with a 10-round magazine.
