The Hatsan Factor BP Bullpup PCP Air Rifle
The Factor BP is available in a choice of calibers –.30 or.35 — and is the big brother to Factor RC. The rifle has a bullpup style and an adjustable soft rubber grip. The grip can be replaced with grips for MSRs. The Factor BP can be shoulder via a 5-position telescoping stowage with a 9 position elevation adjustable cheek rest.
The power output can be adjusted via an externally adjustable regulator with an output gauge. The externally adjustable hammer-preload adjuster helps to fine-tune the power output. This allows for a maximum velocity of 956 FPS (0.30 cal), or 888 FPS (0.35 cal). You can also reach a maximum energy of 140 FPE (0.30 cal) and 144 FPE (0.35 cal).
The 580cc air cylinder in carbon fiber provides 32 shots at optimal velocity (.30 caliber) or 28 shots at optimum speed (.35 caliber). The Factor BP comes with a quick-disconnect filling inlet that is Foster-style, allowing for fast refills. A color-coded integrated manometer allows you to monitor the system pressure with a glance.
The Factor BP features a precision rifled 32-inch barrel with a full-length shroud that reduces noise output. A standard 1/2-inch UNK muzzle piece is also available to attach a larger sound modulator or air stripper. Above the receiver, there is a rail that accepts Picatinny and Weaver mounts, as well as 11mm dovetail mountings.
The Quattro Trigger is fully adjustable, and the trigger pad can be rotated left or to the right for comfort and precision. The Factor BP comes with two SwingLoad magazines, which can be linked to allow for faster magazine changes. A single-shot tray for precise loading is also included.
