They don’t show the homelessness, poop on the streets, random attacks or out-of-control shoplifting. There is a new attraction, however, that won’t make it into California’s tourism videos: crime tourism. As it turns, when entering the country is a simple, noncommittal process, crime follows. Who knew? This is a rhetorical question. We all knew that. Unfortunately, some people have to learn the hard lesson. California is now learning this lesson because of its open borders and ease of entry. California is experiencing an increase in crime tourism from South American criminals, as it turns out. Ventura County Sheriff’s says that most of the “tourist thieves” are from Chile. They are able to obtain tourist visas online, which allows them to enter California. According to ABC 7 News, they can easily apply online for tourist visas that allow them to travel to California. They can apply online for tourist visas and fly to California once they have obtained a visa. We have to listen every day to celebrities who advocate for laws that lead to this kind of lawlessness. They then sit in their gated communities, unaware of the destruction they are causing. They may start to advocate against policies now that the elite and affluent are seeing the consequences. Erik Buschow, Ventura Sheriff, stated to ABC 7 that they target homes that back up onto open spaces and golf courses. They’ll stand in the bushes watching and sometimes they’ll leave within two hours. Then they’ll head out for dinner or something similar. I support progress in science, technology, medicine and other areas. Can we all agree that many of the current progressive ideas are a complete failure today? Their ideas are not good. It is a disaster to defund the police force. Open borders–I think everyone can see where this is leading. Gun control is also a complete failure. Even anti-gun Democrats are trying not to be associated with gun control as they head into the midterms. Not all progress is positive. It is okay to try new ideas. However, it is not a good idea to ignore the results and continue to work with bad ideas. It is time to end this madness. Innocent Americans are being negatively affected.
