Camp Perry, Port Clinton Ohio The first CMP National Air Gun Matches in 2022 will be held at the Gary Anderson CMP Competition Center, Camp Perry, Port Clinton. CMP is pleased to include a National Air Gun Competition in the National Match Schedule. The Air Gun Championship will include training and a team match of two members on the first day. This will be followed by two days with 60-shot competitions in both air rifle and pistol over the second and third days. A four-member team match will be included in the two days of 60-shot competitions.REGISTER: If you want to compete, it’s still possible to REGISTER for the event.The inaugural National Air Gun Championship will be held as part of the 2022 Camp Perry National Matches. This schedule allows for the CMP’s junior 3PAR National Championship and the Air Gun Championship to be fired simultaneously. July 17 – Training and Two-Member Team Elimination MatchJuly 17, 2018 – Air Gun Match1 ChampionshipJuly 18, 2018 – Air Gun Match2 Championship & FinalTeam Results: The 4-Member team match will be determined based on scores from Match 1 and Match 2.

CMP Air Rifle Competition Rules
2022 – 2025 National Match CalendarsAdditionally, the CMP has implemented new Distinguished Air Rifle and Air Pistol badge programs. Starting in 2022, Air Rifle and Air Pistol competitors of all ages, not just juniors, will be able to earn Excellence-In-Competition (EIC) credits for these badges in 60-shot National Matches Air Gun Championships, monthly matches, as well as in CMP-sanctioned Air Rifle and Air Pistol club matches.
