President Biden wants to ban semi-automatic rifles like the AR-15 and restrict handguns. The ATF continues to digitize millions more sales records, creating a national Firearms Registry. This is in direct violation to Federal law. Brownells urges gun owners to take collective action for the Second Amendment. Brownells has made February 2, 2022, the first ever Second Amendment Day (2A Day). Free Range Sessions, FREE Ammo and FREE Food. Brownells has partnered up with a few gun ranges in order to host 2nd Amendment Day range session sessions. Range sessions will offer range time, limited ammo and free food to all who attend. Brownells encourages Second Amendment supporters unable to attend a participating range to shoot at a nearby, local range and post photos of their 2A Day activities on social media with hashtag #2ADay.Join a Second Amendment OrganizationBrownells recommends that gun owners join a national and/or state-level gun rights organization. Brownells will promote Firearms Policy Coalition, Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) and American Suppressor Association on its website. Brownells will also have a clickable USA map that visitors can use to locate a state organization to join. Join a state-level organization that promotes gun rights in your area. To protect freedom across the country, join a national organization. Brownells will purchase FPC Memberships for its employees and donate $22,222 each FPC, SAF and the ASA to the Iowa Firearms Coalition. Brownells encourages gun owners to contact their legislators and advocate for the 2nd Amendment. The National 2nd Amendment Day webpage has tips on how to communicate effectively with politicians. The Board’s Chairman Pete Brownell stated that the event was designed to celebrate, recognize and support the right to keep and bear weapons. “This event, which we hope will grow in size and scope, aims to bring all freedom-loving Americans together on a single day – 2/22, this year, and every year thereafter to show support for the 2nd Amendment. Brownells created a free, printable target to promote 2A Day.
