Chris Simmons of Lapua wins the 2022 PRS Rimfire Championship

December 9, 2022. Congratulations to Chris Simmons of Lapua who won the 2022 Precision Rifle Series Rimfire season with a score total of 689.803. Simmons was crowned the 2022 Champion at the PRS Rimfire Finale hosted in Navasota by the TX Precision Matches. Simmons competed with Lapua Center X.22LR ammunition. He finished on the podium three times this year. He won first place at July-Alabama Precision Rimfire Challenge. He also won first place at Caroline Shooters Group PRS Rimfire Series and second at the Atlantic Coast Regional Rimfire Finale. Simmons won the NRLX22 Rimfire National Championship title, in addition to his PRS overall rimfire title. Chris is undoubtedly the most successful rimfire tactical competitor in the world, having won both the PRS Rimfire title and the NRLX22 crown. Simmons commented, “The PRS Rimfire Series is an entire year-long marathon of single matches.
