Cimarron Firearms 1911: One Ranger Pays Tribute to the Texas Rangers

It would be a great idea for Cimarron’s 1911 One Ranger to pay tribute to them. RELATED STORY VOIDEO: SIG Sauer Pearl Harbor 11st Anniversary The Cimarron Firearms 1911 One Ranger. The 1911 One Ranger is simple and is based upon John M. Browning’s original design. It features the same innovative design that made 1911 a classic for more than 100 years. The classic black matte finish contrasts with the steel frame’s walnut grips. Just below the protective, extended beavertail is a grip safety. A slide lock is located just above the grip and flows well with the lines of beavertails and grips. The trigger guard contains a skeletonized trigger that highlights the skeletonized Hammer. The steel slide is mounted atop the frame with a matching matte-black finish. The slide serrations at the rear are a continuation of tradition and allow for slide manipulation in adverse weather conditions. The front dot sight comes with an adjustable rear sight. The words “One Riot One Ranger” are engraved just ahead of the ejection port, further highlighting the theme. Rounds are chambered in.45 ACP and sent downrange by the semi-automatic single action pistol through a 4.25 inch barrel. Cimarron Firearms has announced that a portion of every Cimarron 1911 One Ranger pistol sold will be donated to the Former Texas Rangers Foundation. This will help to build the Texas Rangers Heritage Center in Fredericksburg, Texas. The Heritage Center, which covers 26 thousand square feet on twelve acres of land in Texas, is dedicated to preserving Texas Rangers’ history and working with youth to instill the same values-based traits that characterized Texas and the Texas Rangers.
