March 22nd, 2023. Camp Perry will host a 600-yard match this summer as part of the CMP’s National Long Range series. It is scheduled for Camp Perry, Ohio, from July 31 to August 5, 2023. A Mid-Range 3×600 Match will take place for the first time. It will feature 20 slow prone shots at 600 yards. This 3×600 competition marks the beginning of the CMP’s Mid-Range offerings. More will be added in the near future. The CMP’s National Long Range Series features ten individual events and teams in Match, Service, and Palma rifle classes at Camp Perry’s 1,000 yard Viale Range. Match Rifle and Service Rifle are eligible to participate in the matches. The National Long Range series is part the CMP’s annual National Matches held at Camp Perry in Ohio.
Viale Memorial and Critchfield, Henry Memorial and Kerr Memorial, McMaken & Speaks Memorials, Baesel Memorial individual matches – 20 slow prone shots at 1000 yards.
Bataan Memorial 4-Man Team Match: 20 shots slow prone each member at 1,000 metres
Winder Memorial Iron 4 man Team Match – 20 records shot per team member at 1,000 metres

The National Trophy Pistol and Rifle Matches are held at Camp Perry National Guard Training Facility, Ohio, since 1907. They offer a wide range of smallbore rifle, high-powered rifle and pistol competitions. The Small Arms Firing Schools teaches both novice and experienced shooters the fundamentals of safety and shooting in Pistol, Rifle and Smallbore Rifle.
