CMP Offers Shooting Club Affiliate Program with Great Benefits

The Civilian Marksmanship Program offers a CMP affiliate program that provides special benefits for marksmanship clubs and organizations. CMP-Affiliated clubs and their members can enjoy many benefits for just $35 per year. These include access to training, equipment, facilities and competitions. CMP-Affiliated clubs are eligible to host local CMP sanctioned events — from smallbore to CMP Games rifles and pistols, highpower and other events. CMP’s Affiliated club network now boasts more than 2700 affiliated clubs across the country. Visit TheCMP.org/clubs to find an Affiliated club in your area. Marksmanship organizations or clubs can affiliate with one of the following categories: Junior Club, Junior Club, Junior Club with Junior Division Senior Club, Youth Camp, School Teams (High School Middle School JROTC Unit etc. College Shooting Team or School Team (High School, Middle School, JROTC Unit etc.). Eligibility requirements for CMP-affiliated clubs Senior ClubJunior Club: Minimum 10 adults who are U.S. citizens.

Minimum of 10 junior club members aged 20 and under.

Minimum of 10 adults and 10 junior members aged 20 and under Youth Camps

Minimum 10 participants in the camp riflery program School shooting team

Minimum 10 participants for team program College Shooting Teams

Minimum of 10 team players, aged 27 and under CMP-affiliated clubs get discounts on rifles and targets

Affiliated Clubs get a discount on certain firearms such as Savage.22 LR Rifles. The CMP has also contracted with Crosman, Daisy, and Walther, and offers each company’s quality air rifles, such as Crosman Challenger CH2021S air rifles. The CMP also offers a sales program of air rifles and smallbore target. Raffle options for the M1 Garand

State associations participating in the Affiliated Club Program can hold a raffle for an M1 Garand rifle once a year (by purchasing an M1 Field Grade rifle from CMP at a discounted price of $200). Clubs that are not affiliated with a State Association can still get a 10% discount on M1s to use in their own ranges. Insurance Options for CMP Affiliated Clubs

Attach copies of important documents (such as your organization’s constitution, bylaws, articles or incorporation) to your application. You will need to provide a check, a money order or credit card details to pay the $35.00 annual dues. (Note: JROTC, 4-H Shooting Sports Clubs, and BSA organizations can affiliate for free). CMP Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) allow some established clubs to automatically become affiliated. The CMP automatically affiliates entities such as the JROTC command of each branch of the military, 4-H, and Boy Scouts. Although automatic, clubs must enroll at the CMP to become officially affiliated.
