The knives were created by Phil Boguszewski (famous knife maker). They feature classic styles straight out of the 1950s. Three new Kris blades are available in a size that is convenient for pocket carrying. Each blade is equipped with a stainless steel leaf spring lock that can withstand up to 145 lbs of pressure.
Kris Ti-Lite blades are made of AUS 10A steel and come in either 4- or 6-inch lengths. They also have a standard edge. Also available in 6-inch lengths is a serrated-edge model. The blades are 3mm and 4mm respectively.
Kris Ti-Lite knives also come with Griv-Ex handles made of flat dark earth. Cold Steel claims that the FDE handles offer a smooth, positive grip. Additional retention comes via a slight pommel swell. Each knife comes with a discreet steel pocket clip. Blade deployment is possible via thumb studs and blade-integrated quillons. For fast deployment, you can even open the blade with your thumb studs or blade-integrated quillons.
Retail prices range from $89.99 up to $114.99. Coldsteel.com has more information.
