Crimson Trace’s new RUGER MAX-9 laserguard elevates the EDC pistol to a new level. The addition of the trigger guard-mounted laser allows for immediate target acquisition, making it ideal for defensive carry. RELATED STORY The Crimson Trace RUGERMAX-9 Laserguard Now Available with Crimson Trace Red Dot The laserguard is only available in black. However, it does offer the possibility of a red or green laser. Crimson Trace’s Instinctive Activation technology activates the laser. The laser activates when the user grips and their middle finger touches the trigger guard. The master on/off switch prevents the laser from turning on when it isn’t needed. The laserguard is protected from rain and other directional water sprays/splashes by its IPX4 waterproof design. The laserguard can be used for 4 hours on a single 1/3N battery. The battery can be easily replaced by a bottom-accessible compartment that allows for quick and easy removal. The master on/off switch protects the battery and prevents accidental activation. The trigger guard is attached to the laserguard using a two-piece, clamshell design. The two pieces are connected around the trigger guard for a secure fit that is specific to the RUGER MAX-9. The laserguard can be adjusted for windage and elevation once it is installed. Each user can adjust the targeting for their pistol by dialing in the laserguard.
