Gun enthusiasts tend to have more than one firearm. Most likely, there are many more. The only problem with a large number of guns is that they require a large number of holsters. This means spending extra money to adjust to the differences in carrying. This usually translates into extra magazine carriers. CrossBreed Holsters has a solution to the magazine issue with its Confidant MagCarrier, which is compatible for most magazines.

Confidant is made of a combination high-impact polymers that are flexible. It can withstand harsh environments and hard use. The rugged polymer also offers impact resistance to protect your magazine from daily wear.
The front and back clamshell panels are joined by flexible polymer bands. The bands expand to ensure a snug fit when the magazine is inserted. The elastomer-polymer bands have been subjected to rigorous testing, including a “1,000 draw” test in extreme cold and heat temperatures.
Confidant’s self-adjusting, multifit design provides enough retention to never require fine-tuning or adjusting. The reversible design also allows the Confidant belt to be worn either OWB (outside waistband) or IWB (inside waistband).
According to the company’s website, the Confidant can accommodate the most common single- and double-stack magazines. It will not fit.22 or some.45 double stack magazines. If you’re unsure if your.45-caliber double-stack magazines will fit, it’s best to contact the company before buying.

Unfortunately, I haven’t seen one in person yet. However, it does look a bit bulky. The bulk appears to be more in the width than the depth. It looks like it won’t be sticking out that much more than a standard magazine holder. It does appear to have a wide footprint on the belt.
I can’t say for sure if it would be heavy unless I actually carried it. Sometimes, you’ll have to accept compromises in order to achieve wide compatibility. It is worth it if you have enough magazines in different calibers. If you only own a few firearms, it’s up to you.
