DRD Tactical introduces ARES Adaptive Restention System

DRD Tactical’s ARES Adaptive Retention system can make your shooting experience more enjoyable. This is great fun and useful practice, but if you want to use your rifle in a real-world defensive situation, this is not enough. Moving and shooting are the two main components of engaging in a fight. Unfortunately, this is often overlooked. You only need to watch a few clips of real-life gunfights in order to understand that you must be able run, jump, scale, fight, and keep your weapon. While some slings are designed to do this, not all slings offer the same level or retention. The mounting plate’s mouth is made from high-durability plastic and opens at the top in an “V” shape, before narrowing to a channel at the bottom. This channel holds your rifle close to your chest using the peg attached either to your AR’s sideplate or QD-sling point. The entire system attaches to MOLLE. This allows you to quickly move your hands without worrying about your rifle’s sling getting caught in your gear. Even slings that are tight enough to fit tightly around the body can slip during intense movement. Slings are also notorious for getting caught on things. DRD Tactical ARES eliminates any potential movement between your body and the rifle by eliminating this issue. The ARES allows for faster movement and agility by keeping the rifle closer in relation to your center of gravity. The ARES also turns your entire plate carrier/vest into a sling by securely attaching it to your chest. This evenly distributes the weapon’s weight across a larger surface than any traditional sling. This will help reduce fatigue when you carry a rifle for a long time. Those whose profession entails a lot of standing around, patrolling or even running while armed would likely appreciate what this system has to offer. For more on DRD Tactical, please visit drdtactical.com.Raise Your Gear IQ:NEXT STEP: Download Your Free Storm Tactical Printable Target Pack 62 Printable MOA Targets with DOT Drills – Rifle Range in YARDS This impressive target pack from our friends at Storm Tactical contains 62 printable targets for rifle and handgun range use.
