Faxon Firearms has recently released their FX22 line of.22 LR guns constructed from high-quality components. Shooters will be able to enjoy a superior rimfire experience that can last for generations. The FX22 line is available in four models, three rifles and one pistol. It has the perfect option for any situation. The Faxon FX22.22LR Line The FX22 is a line of firearms that combines Faxon’s most popular barrels, receivers and bolts with the best chassis, accessories and stocks in the industry. The result is a great rimfire experience for target shooting or hunting small game. Ammo is cheaper and more readily available. You can choose between three different rifles, and a pistol. Each model has its own unique features, but they all share many of the same characteristics. Shooters can choose a platform based on their personal needs and budget. All four firearms have a 6061 T6 aluminum receiver, with a hardcoat anodized black finish. They also feature a Picatinny Rail for attaching optics or other accessories. Likewise, 416R stainless barrels, chambered in.22 LR, with a black nitride finished, 1:16 twist and Sporter Chamber promote enhanced accuracy. A 1/2×28 muzzle pitch allows the attachment of muzzle devices and suppressors. The FX22 line features a round firing pin and a 17-4 stainless bolt. Tandemkross Spartan Skeletonized Charger Handle on the side allows for easy and quick charging. Ruger BX Trigger delivers 25 rounds from the included magazine with a crisp, light 2.75-pound pull. FX22 Model Specific Components The rifle equipped with GBMFG chassis has a Grey Birch MFG “La Chassis” aluminum stock/chassis and a skeletonized Buttstock. The stock features adjustable cheek riser and pull length butt ends to ensure a perfect fit. The rifle also includes a 16″ medium-fluted barrel. The pistol is also equipped with the Grey Birch “La Chassis”, aluminum chassis, but without the buttstock. Grey Birch MFG sells the buttstock separately. It can be attached via the Picatinny mount. The pistol comes with an 8.5-inch flame-fluted barrel. (Photo by Faxon) The rifle with Magpul stocks features the Magpul Hunter X-22 Stock made of black reinforced polymer. The stock has three M-Lok slot on the forend, as well as multiple sling attachments points. The ergonomic grip, adjustable pull length, and comb-height provide the perfect fit for every shooter. The rifle comes with a 16-inch straight bull barrel for improved accuracy.
