March 15th, 2023Precision Rifle series (PRS) Finale at Shooting USA TV TodayThe 2022 PRS Finale was held November 5-6, 2018, at the K&M Precision Rifle Training Complex, Finger, Tennessee. The Finale brings together the best from the PRS Pro Series to crown an annual champion. Based on their previous matches, competitors qualify for the Finale through regional events. Shooting USA TV’s headline feature today is the 2022 PRS Finale. The Precision Rifle Series (PRS), the largest organization that runs Precision Rifle (tactical style) competition, is $0.99 per episode. PRS has seen a tremendous growth in the last ten years. Not only in the USA, but also internationally. PRS records the results of regional and local competitions to create a world leaderboard to invite the best competitors to the Finale at K & M Precision Complex, Tennessee. PRS Finale HardwareYou will find the most recent and greatest PRS hardware during the PRS Finale. In recent seasons, many top competitors have moved from the 6.5/6mm Creedmoor to smaller, more efficient 6mm Dashers, 6BRA, and 6GT cartridges. The 6mm Dasher is more accurate than the 6.5 Creedmoor and has less recoil. The new magazine designs allow for reliable feeding with shorter cartridges.
Team Lapua’s Allison Zane won overall Top Lady in the 2022 Precision Rifle series (PRS). Zane scored a 169 at this year’s PRS Pro Series Finale to win the Top Lady title for the 3rd consecutive year. This is an impressive “Three-Peat”, for the Ladies’ title. Zane was the Top Lady out of 260 competitors and placed 27th overall. She competed with a 6mm Creedmoor rifle, shooting Lapua brass as well as Berger 109gr LRT bullets. Short Action Customs built her precision rifle using a Defiance Machine Ruckus Tactical Action, Modular Driven Technologies’ (MDT) ACC chassis, Vortex Razor HD Gen III 6-36×56 scope and Hawk Hill Custom Marksman Contour bar with MDT brake.
Invitations are required to attend the PRS Finale. The Precision Rifle Series compiles scores/results of regional competitions to compile an annual world leader board. The Finale at the K & M Training Complex in Tennessee, one of the most advanced precision shooting facilities in the country, is reserved for the top competitors.
