First Look: Anderson Manufacturing Quad Rail Models A4

Anderson Manufacturing introduced the A4 series, a 5.56 NATO AR-15 rifle and pistol. There were four models in the series: a full-length rifle; a mid-length rifle; a carbine rifle; and a pistol. Anderson has now announced an expansion to the line, with three new quad rail models: the A4 Rifle and the A4 Carbine, as well as the A4 Pistol. This gives shooters a quad-rail-equipped option for every A4 model, in addition to the mid-length rifle. The new models are almost identical to their standard Anderson A4 counterparts, aside from the addition of a four rail handguard. This means that no matter what model the gun is, it will share the same A2 pistol handle, buttstock/brace, and ship with a Magpul MBUS rear flip up sight. All models have an A frame front sight. Quad Rail RifleThe quad rail rifle features a 20-inch, 1 to9 twist 4150 Chrome Vanadium barrel with government profile. It has a rifle-length gas system and an A2-style buttstock. MSRP: $679.99. A4 Carbine with Quad RailsThe quad-rail carbine features a 16-inch, 1/8 twist 4150 Chrome Vanadium barrel with an m4 contour. It has a carbine-length gas line, an adjustable M4-style buttstock, and a 6.5 inch quad rail. A4 Pistol with Quad RailsThe quad rail pistol features a 10.5-inch, 1/7 twist 4150 Chrome-Moly vanadium barrel. It has a carbine-length gas supply, a SBA3 Tactical pistol brace, and a 6.5 inch quad rail. MSRP is $669.99. Anderson also sells quad rail handguards separately at $669.99.
