Winchester Ammunition just announced XPERT.22 LR, designed to be the perfect match with the Winchester XPERT Bolt-Action Rimfire of the same namesake. This load of XPERT.22 LR is a 42 grain copper-plated hollow-point projectile with a muzzle velocity of 1,320 fps. This impressive velocity will keep the bullets flat, making it easier to hit targets at greater distances. It also helps the hollow-point bullets achieve maximum growth. Winchester Ammunition says the new load is a great choice for hunting and target shooting. The new XPERT ammo is available in 100-round boxes. However, the MSRP has yet to be published. Winchester has announced that the ammo is in production and will be available shortly.
