The APX family handguns by Beretta are striker-fired, polymer-framed pistols that are primarily chambered in 9mm. Although the original models were available in three sizes, modern handgun standards have made them less popular in terms of features. Beretta released the APX A1 Carry in 2021, an upgraded version of their APX Carry. It includes features such as an optics-ready slide, ergonomics improvements, and more. Beretta has now announced that the full-size APX model has been given the same treatment with the APX A1 FS. This is a feature that has almost become a necessity in modern handguns. The slide can be fitted with one of four Beretta optic plates, which allow mounting of Shield and Burris, C-Mores, Holosun K Series, or other compatible micro-red dot sights. The APX A1 FS comes with a tritium front view with a white outline. This allows for better irons shooting at night and day. The pistol’s frame, grip and slide have been modified to give you a more natural-pointing, easier-recoiling shooting experience. The profile of the grip has been improved, the beavertail lengthened, the slide serrations have been made more aggressive, and the trigger guard’s front has been texturized. The APX A1 FS is identical to the original APX. It comes with three interchangeable backstraps. Each Beretta APX A1 FS will come with two 17-round mags (reduced in capacity for ban states), a case and three backstraps.
