First Look: Bergara B-14 Squared Crest Rifle

Bergara recently announced the B-14 Squared Crest Rifle. This ultralight bolt-action hunting weapon is available in four chambering options. Anyone who has ever carried a hunting rifle on backcountry hunts should be able to appreciate the current trend towards ultralight rifles. Bergara’s latest model is the B-14 Squaredcrest Rifle. It weighs in at 6.9 pounds and can be chambered with four popular hunting cartridges. This model will likely be very popular with hunters who enjoy taking game off the beaten path. The carbon spine runs down the middle of the rifle to increase rigidity and durability. Spacers can be used to adjust its length-of pull. The 4140 CrMo steel Bergara precision barrel is also included. It’s fluted to further reduce its weight. The barrel is threaded 5/8×24, and comes with a Bergara Omni Muzzlebrake to reduce recoil. Mag. All barrels are 20 inches long, except for the.300 Win. Mag. Model with a 22-inch barrel. The B-14 Squared Crest also features an AICS-pattern compatible magazine, a 90-degree bolt throw and an adjustable Bergara Performance Trigger. The rifle also features a two-position safety, which allows the rifle to be unloaded while it is engaged. Target grids and bullseye sizes can be downloaded in MOA. This is a great option for long-range shooting. Enter your email address below.
