Girsan, Turkey has been producing variants of its MC P35 High Power clone like it’s nothing tomorrow. The company has released the carry-sized MC P35 PI, as well as the modernized MC P35 OS and Match models. Another variation, the MC P35 OPS Optic has just been announced. This is the first time a Hi Power has been offered from a manufacturer in an optics ready configuration. The only difference is the optics-ready slide that lacks a rear iron view. We’ll briefly review the similarities before we get into the new features. The MC P35 OPS is optics-ready, but it also comes with G10 grips and a fiber optic front view, a beveled Magwell, an extended beavertail, and a beveled magwell. They have an upgraded straight trigger, a 15-round magazine capacity, and an accessory rail. EAA claims that it will also fit some Holosun optics, but these may require an adaptor plate. EAA Far-Dot 4MOA red dot sight will be included with each pistol. Target grids and bullseye sizes can be downloaded in MOA. This is a great option for long-range shooting.
