SilencerCo just released the GDCH (Gas Defeating Charging Handle), which is here to complete your suppressed AR.
SilencerCo makes most silencers. Anyone who has shot an AR-15 with one mounted will know that it is not always the most enjoyable experience. Report, muzzle flash, and recoil can all be reduced by using a suppressor. However, in AR-style firearms these benefits are often countered by a disadvantage. Suppressors slow down the escape of hot gases from the weapon’s muzzle. This forces those gasses to go elsewhere. Due to the weapon’s design, this is often right in the face of AR shooters. SilencerCo’s GDCH, or Gas Defeating Charge Handle, has been released. It is a standard ambidextrous AR charging hand, but the main feature of the GDCH’s O-ring seal is what makes it so much more enjoyable to shoot suppressed ARs. The O-ring seal blocks most hot gases that are propelled at the shooter during firing suppressed. It redirects them back into the system, where they can dissipate slower and away from the face. This will make suppressing shooting more enjoyable and more effective in real-world situations. SilencerCo claims that the GDCH is more effective than other companies’ attempts at suppressing shooting. Target grids and bullseye sizes can be downloaded in MOA. Get Free Targets
