Smith & Wesson introduced its new TEMPO system at SHOT 2020 when it announced the M&P 5.7. But another pistol has just been released that will also utilize it. The M&P22 magnum is chambered for the.22 WMR cartridge and has a 30-round capacity. It also features a stainless steel barrel with a 4.35 inch length and an internal hammer fired design. The TEMPO barrel system is gas-operated and does not allow the gun to be unlocked until the bullet has reached the gas port. This should improve performance and reliability.
