The new Springfield Garrison 1911 aims to fill the gap between these two categories. The Garrison 1911 is built to last with a few subtle upgrades and improvements. It also has a reasonable MSRP. These 1911s are a combination Springfield’s manufacturing history and modern machining techniques. They look great, but they also have some practical upgrades. Both the blued and stainless-steel Garrison models are available. Both models also come with Thinline checkered wooden grips. The Garrison also features a skeletonized Hammer, low-profile 3-dot combat sight and an extended beavertail grip safety that has a memory bump to ensure a consistent grip on every draw.
