Springfield Armory’s Ronin EMP 1911s combine two popular pistol family into one. They are perfect for concealed carry and bring two new lightweight guns that are rugged and light. Springfield EMP 1911s were created from scratch to chamber for 9mm. This allows their frame, grip radius, and barrel to be reduced in size. EMPs are more concealable and have been a popular choice for carry ever since their introduction. But now Springfield is giving the family a makeover by releasing the new Ronin EMP line. The existing Ronin 1911s from Springfield have also proved to be popular with subtle, modern upgrades to traditional guns. Although Ronins were previously available in 9mm, the full-sized frames of their larger brothers made them less popular than the.45 ACP and 10mm versions. The Ronin EMP family’s unveiling is expected to change this. The Ronin EMP pistols are available in two sizes of the already compact EMP frame. The new Ronin EMP pistols are available with either a 3-inch barrel with 9-round magazine or a 4-inch barrel with a 10-round mag. The new pistols feature the “Ronin Treatment”, which includes a two-tone finish and wood grips. These features make the Ronin EMP 1911s functional, lightweight, modern, and stylish while still remaining classic, stylish, and rugged.
