National Shooting Sports Month is August. The goal is to have fun at the range, as well as introduce new people to the challenge and fun of pistol, shotgun, and rifle shooting. We’ve created a set six fun targets to help our readers have a great time at the range in August. These PDF targets are available for free printing and use. While AccurateShooter.com focuses primarily on high accuracy shooting (high-speed rifles), probably 95% of rifles shooting is done just for fun, at targets within 200 yards. Shooting targets for fun can be a lot of fun. Here are five targets for a fun-filled day at the range.Fly Shoot GridAim at the 10 flies, one by one from top to bottom. For a tougher challenge, use an accurate rifle to try to hit the small, yellow inner circle at the center of the three radiation hazards symbols (see below). This central circle is smaller that a bullet-hole and poses a challenge. Dart-Board TargetWith the fun Dart-Board Target you can aim for the outer bullseyes then go for the middle bull. The colored darts are additional targets. NSSF Billiards table targetThis Billiards table target offers 15 brightly colored numbered balls, with the cueball at the bottom. Shoot the numbers 1-15 in order, or alternate between stripes, solids, and stripes. You can also use a white cue ball to mark your zero (by attaching a pasteer or drawing an “X”. This target is great for shooting pistols or rifles outdoors at 50 or 100 yards.

Use it at closer distances with pistols or at 100-200 yard ranges with rifles. Start by shooting the center bull, then the four smaller ones.
