A lot of information is available for free. Most of the actual load data is charged. All current load data can be purchased for $19.99 or you can use the “a-la-carte” option to purchase load information for 99 cents per type. You would pay $2.97 (3x $0.99) if you want.223 Rem or.284 Win or.308Win. We would use the free information from the Hodgdon or Vihtavuori online reloading centers. We understand that some people will prefer an app that offers a wide range of powder brands in one place. Hornady’s complete data collection includes hundreds of cartridges, ranging from.17 Hornet up to 50 BMG (for rifle), and.22 Hornet up to.500 S&W for pistol. The App includes over 200 cartridge types and a variety loads using Hornady bullets. Each cartridge comes with a powder chart and Velocity information. The database includes both established powders and new powders like Power Pro 2000 MR and IMR 4451 and 7977. Popular powders like Reloder 17 and Superformance have been expanded. The free download includes hundreds of pages of reloading information and bullet guides, as well as tips and techniques. There is also limited data on new offerings like 6mm Creedmoor (6.5 PRC), and 300 PRC. Reloaders will need to pay for load data on specific cartridges.
