Because all your load data fits neatly under each target, it has been very popular as a load-development target. This target is used by both barrel-makers and rifle-makers (including Criterion), to test their products. This target was created to maximize aiming efficiency. The diamonds are 1/2? You can align your crosshairs on both the horizontal and vertical lines and have 1/2? sides. It is simple and easy to see at 200 yards even with a 20X scope.
