The ZEISS Hunting App has many useful functions. It includes a full-featured ballistics calculator and field notes with photo archive. There is also a compass function. GPS tagging can be used to document hunting experiences. The Hunting App is available as a free download for Android and iOS (iPhone/iPad). The Zeiss Hunting App includes many useful features, including a ballistics solver and compass, GPS tag, hunt history, and GPS tagging. The “Field Notes” function can record a variety of information. You can save photos, track your shots and hits, log animal sightings, and plot game locations on a Google map. Zeiss says: “This allows users the ability to optimally record events and the game population in their hunting territory, as well as their hunting experiences.” You can tag shots via GPS by indicating the shooter’s or target’s position.
