GPO (German Precision Optics) is a relatively new company that has made a splash in high quality riflescopes, observation optics, and other products. GPO (German Precision Optics) has never offered a product in the reflex optics market. GPO’s first reflex sight, the Spectra, is now available and ready to compete in the field. GPO Spectra Reflex Sight Made of aircraft-grade aluminum in black anodization, the Spectra measures 0.78 ounces and is a micro.90 inch tall. The aluminum housing provides a strong and sturdy construction, while the IPX67 waterproofing allows submersion in water for up to 30 minutes. The Spectra is able to withstand extreme environments and still work. The polymer lens measures 0.87 inches x 0.63 inches. It displays a 3 MOA red dot. The dot has an automatic brightness adjustment, which allows for a button-free interface. The lowest brightness setting can be used for night vision, while the highest setting is visible against the sky during bright daylight. GPO’s patented GPOBright high transmission technology keeps the dot visible in all environments. The optic has a built-in motion sensor and activates when it detects movement. The sight automatically shuts off after one minute of activity. This gives the optic a 40,000-hour lifespan on one CR 1632 battery. The slide-out side drawer lets you change the battery without having to remove the optic. The sight can be adjusted with a range up to 60 MOA using the elevation and windage turrets. They are available on both the top and side mounts. The tactile clicks allow for precise zeroing by allowing the user to adjust the sight with a few clicks. The Spectra uses the DeltaPoint/Shield RMS footprint, but also includes a Picatinny mounting for modern sporting rifles.
