A new report by a voter registration group shows the impact that hunters, recreational shooters and other American gun owners can have on federal, local and state elections if they register and vote in the November election. Second Amendment supporters must ensure that the 22,3 million new gun owners who have registered since 2020 vote in November. NSSF created the #GUNVOTE campaign to accomplish this goal. According to newly released survey data by Vote4America the outcome of the upcoming presidential election in November could be determined largely by Second Amendment supporters.

It is important to encourage firearm owners to register to vote and to encourage them to do so this November. According to a Vote4America study, a large number of gun owners and hunters in key swing states are not registered to vote. Estimated 10 million gun owners and hunter are not registered to vote in the United States. The data shows that there are at least 515 277 unregistered Second Amendment and hunting supporters in Pennsylvania. This number is closer to 370,000 in Michigan and North Carolina. Georgia, Wisconsin and Missouri “all have over half a million unregistered hunters and gun owners,” and in Arizona, that number is approximately 133,000.
Baker Leavitt, Vote4America’s adviser, said in a District of Conservation Podcast, “If we could convert 2% of licensed hunters to voting, [the] GOP will win by a landslide.”
