The RatedRR team sends some orange gourds to pumpkin heaven with Det Cord, C4, binary explosives, and C4. The amazing sequence that begins at the 2:02 minute mark in the first clip is truly remarkable. WARNING! DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. Next, a pumpkin that has been carved into a Death Star is used as the target for a rifle of.50 caliber (looks similar to a Barrett M82.50 MMG). The pumpkin Death Star, as you might guess, suffers the exact same fate as the Star Wars version. NOTE: A graphic at the 0:42 mark of the video displays “30,000 FPS”. This is the high-speed camera frame-per second rate, not the projectile velocity in feet per second. Warning: These demonstrations were conducted at close ranges by professionals who are certified to use explosives. Possession of C4 or Det Cord could be considered a violation of federal, state, and local laws. The BATFE regulates C4 and detonating cord as high explosives. These stunts are not something you should attempt to duplicate on your own.
