Made of aluminum, the Reflex Sight is durable and lightweight at just 3 ounces. According to the company, the sight is also shock- and water-resistant. It is not listed with an IPX rating so it is not clear if it is waterproof. The 1.5-inch wide viewing window gives you a full sight picture, allowing for faster target acquisition. The frame houses a fully multi-coated 25-layer lens. The lens is durable and functional, even after years of heavy use. The viewing window contains a 2 MOA dot and a 35 MOA circular reticle. There are eight brightness settings that can be used in either daylight or dimly lit environments. The sight automatically switches to standby mode after 5 minutes of no movement. This is to preserve the CR2032 batteries. The sight will also turn back on when it is picked up for quick use. The Reflex Sight has a Weaver rail mounting, making it ideal for any AR, rifle, shotgun, or shotgun with Picatinny/Weaver rails. It is small enough to mount on a pistol. However, you will need to purchase an optic mounting plate for Picatinny rails. I recommend that you purchase a Picatinny and not a Weaver Rail if you decide to go this route.
