Hornady Becomes Precision Rifle Series Title Sponsor for 2024

Hornady has been named the official title sponsor of the Precision Rifle Series. This is a significant step up for Hornady in terms of sponsorship levels. Hornady had sponsored special events, such as the Precision Rifle Challenge. Hornady is now the main sponsor of all PRS Centerfire events. Neil Davies, the marketing director at Hornady, said: “We’re excited to be the title sponsor of the Precision Rifle Series.” As the Official Bullet and Ammunition for the PRS, and as the Title Sponsor, we are able to show our commitment to both the sport and PRS. Ken Wheeler, PRS director, said: “We’re beyond excited to announce our partnership with Hornady in 2024 as our Title sponsor and as the Official Bullet and Ammunition for the Precision Rifle Series.” Hornady, an industry leader, is very involved in the PRS Community. Their… award-winning bullets and ammunition makes them exceptional partners of the largest Precision Rifle Organization[. “Hornady A-Tip match is official bullet of PRSThe PRS centerfire bullet has been designated the official bullet for the PRS series due to Hornady’s sponsorship. The official factory ammunition for the PRS is Hornady Match. This does not obligate anyone to use A-Tips, Hornady Ammo or any other product. However, these products will be promoted as part of Hornady’s PRS sponsorship. We have used Hornady A Tip bullets on various platforms and are impressed. The BCs and A-Tips can be sorted by weight, base-to-ogive and tip imperfections to achieve excellent accuracy. These A-Tips are the result of a major design effort by Hornady. “Years worth of research and testing conducted by the Hornady Ballistic Development Group combined with advanced manufacturing techniques and quality control measures have led to the ultimate low-drag and high-performance A Tip(r). Match bullet.”

In recent seasons, Hornady sponsored PRS events like the Precision Rifle Challenge. Hornady Manufacturing Co., a family-owned company based in Grand Island Nebraska, was founded in 1949. Hornady Manufacturing, a world-leading manufacturer of bullets, ammunition, reloading tools, accessories, and security products, is proud to sell Made-in-USA.
