Hornady just announced the release CX bullets, pre-loaded ammunition, and a range of expansion, penetration, and aerodynamic performance in a variety of hunting calibers. Hornady products are recognized worldwide, whether it is for premium hunting bullets or defensive handgun ammunition. The company now has a new line, the CX bullets. These projectiles and ammunition are engineered to deliver exceptional terminal performance, a consistent stable ballistic coefficient, and reduce fouling. CX bullets can be purchased in a variety of calibers, either as Hornady-loaded ammunition or reloading components. This projectile penetrates deeply, doesn’t break apart upon impact, and has devastating effects on target. It uses the Hornady Heat Shield tip, which is used on many of their bullets. This tip’s heat-resistant polymer construction allows it to maintain a high ballistic coefficient throughout flight. The new CX bullets are both precise and effective because of this combination. The new groove geometry reduces copper fouling. They also offer a subsonic loading in 350 Legend. Hornady’s most significant change to its existing lineup is the incorporation CX bullets into all Outfitter line loads. Outfitter ammo comes in a variety of calibers, including 243 Winchester and 375 H&H Magnum. It is also available in watertight nickel-plated boxes. Outfitter ammo is available in all calibers with the high-performance CX Bullets. This allows you to hunt medium-sized game with ease. They are legal to hunt in areas that require lead-free bullets due to their monolithic copper construction. Hornady claims these projectiles only have a few minor improvements. However, hunters who are familiar with the old GMX bullets will notice a greater terminal performance at longer ranges.
