Howa has just expanded its popular Mini Action bolt-action rifle line to include 6mm ARC, available in seven different configurations.Announced in 2020, 6mm ARC is a relatively new cartridge, but it’s been steadily becoming more popular ever since. It has a better ballistics than 5.56 NATO, produces similar recoil, and can be used in smaller bolt-action rifles. Howa recently announced that 6mm ARC was now available as a chambering option for its Mini Action rifle series. While each has its own uses, 6mm ARC excels at long-range shooting. Despite having less recoil and a shorter overall length, it has slightly better velocity/trajectory than.308/7.62 NATO. It is small enough to be used in Howa’s Mini Action range, making it an ideal choice for a new chambering option. It offers all the benefits of a bolt-action rifle but is as powerful as a full-sized rifle chambered for.308. Howa currently offers six-inch ARC Mini Action rifles in seven configurations: Standard Synthetic, Carbon Stalker and Carbon Elevate, HS Precision and EXCL Lite. Both barrels come threaded and are ready to accept a suppressor, or any other muzzle device. Both barrels have a twist rate of 1:8.
