Industry Day at the Range offers a unique experience. Gun industry representatives can inspect and test a wide range of new rifles and shotguns from 100+ manufacturers around the world. New optics and accessories for shooting are also on display. On Monday, 1/22/24, hundreds of media members and gun-industry personnel visited the Boulder City Nevada gun range to test guns with live ammunition. New rifles, optics, pistols and ammo were on display. This year’s conditions at the range weren’t ideal. The weather was cold, damp and rainy during the day. Raindrops didn’t affect the shooting at all, as most of it was still within 50 yards. The rain made it harder to hit the targets at longer ranges set up in the upper rifle bay. The reporter visits five different manufacturers (Armscor Walther Diamondback SDS Imports American Tactical American Tactical and tests handguns against steel targets. True Pearce, Editor of America Digest, was at Industry Day at the Range to check out the latest products from SIG Sauer Guns. This included the new Staccato Ammunition line. True Pearce, America Digest Editor, was able to get a sneak peek at the Cross Trax Compact Hunting Rifle, a new rifle from SIG Sauer. The lightweight Cross Trax is easily carried in a daypack thanks to its skeletonized folding stock. Pearce and his crew were able to get an exclusive preview of SHOT Show 2024 before the show officially opened. The Cross Trax is only 6.1 pounds when chambered in the.308 Winchester. Beretta Range Day – Wide Variety of Guns This 51-minute Classic Firearms Video covers a wide variety of Beretta pistols and rifles. These guns were displayed at the Beretta Private Range Day event that was held earlier at Desert Sportsman’s Range, West Las Vegas. The first segment features shotguns, followed by pistols around the 10 minute mark.
