IWA Outdoor Classics Europe’s largest combined trade show for hunting, shooting and civilian/military safety industries. In ten exhibition halls, 918 exhibitors representing 54 countries will display their latest products and/or services. It has been three long years since the IWA Outdoor Classics of 2019. This event has been hugely popular in years past, with over 45,500 trade visitors coming from 115 countries. The European Market for Civilian Firearms Is Growing
The IWA show attendance this year may be lower, but Europe’s civilian firearms industry is thriving, according to data from the European Institute of Hunting and Sporting Arms. “Global civilian firearm production has increased in recent decades, and European production has also increased,” said Nicola Perrotti, IEACS president. In 2020, there were 3.6 million firearms made in Europe, with 2.9 million being pistols and 900,000. These were shotguns and rifles. This represents a 34% increase of European firearms production compared to the previous year,” stated Nicola Perrotti (IEACS president).

At demonstration bays visitors could practice marksmanship with non-projectile-firing laser pistols.
