July 2022: New Guns and Gear

You are looking for a new iron, or a piece of kit to improve your existing one? J.P. Sauer & Sohn are the longest-lasting gunmakers. The German manufacturer has been producing exceptional irons for over 270 years. More than one of them has won a once-in-a lifetime trophy. Sauer has created a special collection of commutative rifles to celebrate this legacy. They are elegant and precise with maximum precision. The anniversary edition of three rifles, 101, 101, and 404, are marked by the chambering of.270 Winchester, while the 303 is chambered in.308 Winchester. This is a nice twist. The guns are also available in grade 5 walnut and 7 walnut. Each grip cap features Sauer’s 270th-anniversary logo in gold and black. The grip cap also features the “Wild Man with a Club” verbiage. There were only 10 sets made of these guns, and one was available in the United States. MSRP: N/AFederal 100th Anniversary Shotshell Packaging. Taking a shotgun into the field is a throwback to golden times, no matter how you slice it. Federal Premium understands this and is celebrating 100 years of producing some the best ammunition in the country by packaging several shells that are reminiscent of a halcyon time. The special edition 100th Anniversary shotshell packaging is similar to the boxes you found in your granddad’s gun room. It features throwback names, type, and graphics. It’ll be difficult to part ways with the boxes once the ammo has been used up. Federal offers four boxes for its 12-gauge Top Gun ammunition, which is loaded with No. 8 shot. MSRP: $10.99 per box, 20Springfield Armory9mm Garrison Springfield Armory’s 9mm Garrison perfectly balances tradition and advancement. It is the ideal pistol for anyone looking for modern performance but with a nostalgic appeal. The gun’s choice of finishes is what makes it stand out. These include a very dynamic stainless steel and a richly colored carbon steel. The gun’s classic 1911 profile is complemented by thin-line hardwood grips. Galco Gunleather’s Trail BeltOK has very few throwbacks. You don’t want to go back to the uncomfortable and cramped straps of old. The Trail Belt is made of breathable, flexible nylon with a tubular web construction. The belt is designed to move with the wearer, but it doesn’t bite and can still be used as an IWB support system. It’s comfortable enough to wear on a day hike or during work, and it doesn’t bite. Cobra D-Ring is a nice addition. It holds fast but has a quick-release mechanism. MSRP: $98 Browning A5 Shotgun Vintage Tan. Despite having a different operating system to the original Auto 5, the vintage hammering Humpback retains its retro appeal. Browning recently updated the gun’s vintage look with a Vintage Tan Camo pattern. The 12-gauge looks very similar to the splotchy camo of the 1960s and 1980s. It is also a great gun for anyone who wants to go to the duck blind or the turkey woods. The semi-auto is available with a 26-inch or 28-inch barrel, each chambered for 3 1/2-inch shells. The gun’s features include a chrome-lined barrel, a rugged composite stock, and a long-lasting warranty. To take the heater with you, you need to think creatively. Elite Survival System’s Liberty Gun Pack is a great option. The pack can be worn horizontally or vertically and can be carried on a belt or attached with Molle platforms. It’s compatible with most compact and small pistols. This attractive piece of EDC luggage has plenty of storage, 1000-denier nylon construction, and ripcords for accessing the firearms compartment. That’s great! What can you do to protect them now? You may not realize it, but the system you use to protect your firearms can also cause them harm. Hornady’s SnapSafe provides the tools to care for them when they are locked and keyed. The core of the comprehensive suite is a dehumidifier/hygrometer that monitors and combats the problem of gun safes, moisture. There are also a few handy extras, such as a document bag, document basket, document bag, and LED light strip. These accessories are essential if you own a safe.
