Smallbore silhouette shooting can be a challenging and fun shooting discipline. Competitors aim at a variety steel chickens, turkeys, pigs, and rams. Standing and unsupported shooters aim at four banks at increasing distances to hit 40 targets. Each silhouette that is knocked down earns the competitor one point. Shooters of smallbore are able to shoot at distances as short as 40, 60, 70, 77, or 100 meters. Competitors will shoot 80 rounds Saturday and 40 rounds Sunday in the Mexico competition.
