Ryan Sponauer, a highly-skilled competitive shooter, has been hired by Lapua as the new Rimfire Center Manager at the sophisticated Lapua rimfire ammo test center in Mesa Arizona. The center allows rimfire rifle owners to test different Lapua rimfire ammunition in their rifles. Visitors can test different loads of ammunition simultaneously at 50 and 100 meters in the Mesa, Arizona facility, as well as in other Lapua Rimfire Performance Centers. This allows them to determine which lot works best with their rifles. He began shooting three-position and in prone at The Blue Trail range, Wallingford, CT at the age 14 where he won many state and regional competitions. Sponauer, a graduate of the University of North Georgia who shot for the NCAA 3-P and Air Rifle Teams, served as a multi-year captain and managed lot testing for the team.
