Lee Hand Press Quick-Change Die Functionality
This Lee Press comes with the Breech Lock Quick Change Die Feature. With just a twist of your wrist, you can instantly change dies. One Breech Lock Quick-Change Bushing is included. The Breech Lock Hand Press weighs in at just 1 3/4 pounds. It weighs in at 1 3/4 lbs and measures 11.5 inches. The maximum length cartridge that the Lee Hand Press can take is 3.650 inches.
Although we don’t recommend it for full-length sizing, the Hand Press does a great job seating bullets. This makes the Hand Press a useful “field expedient” tool for load development at the range. You can test the seating depth of your cartridges by loading a few cartridges at home with the bullets seated long. You can then re-seat your bullets at the range by making them shorter in a series of rounds until you find the optimal Cartridge OAL.
Lee’s Hand Press is great for decapping operations. One verified buyer reported that it was used for decapping while watching TV. It can also be used for other operations.
