The MC9mm, a striker-fired 9mm polymer-framed pistol from Mossberg, was released in 2019. The MC2sc was their third pistol, which they released on October 25th. It is roughly the same length as the MC1. They have changed from a single stack polymer magazine to a double stack steel magazine. The capacity has risen from 6 or 7+1 to 11 or 14, +1. Ammo is the best weapon in a gunfight. Yes, the MC2sc has optics. There are five options available: standard, standard with cross-bolt safety and standard with night sights. One has a 10-round magazine and one is Massachusetts compliant. MSRP ranges from $556 to $662. It performed flawlessly when I shot it with Crimson Trace CT-1550 sight. Unfortunately, this model is not available for testing. MMR Carbine Mossberg’s MMR Carbine is next on the list. It is an AR15 platform that features a 6 position collapsible Stock, M-LOK compatible freefloat, an octagonal forend, removable iron sights, Magpul MOE grip, and trigger guard. It comes as a base model and can be upgraded with your choice light, optic, or sling. The MMR has everything you need and nothing you don’t. MSRP: $997 940 Pro Tactical shotgun With a variety of models available, the Mossberg 940 has been their flagship shotgun. Now they are releasing their 940 Pro Tactical. It has all the great features of the 940s, including a nickel boron coating, a gas system that allows it to go 1,500 rounds without cleaning, a beveled loading port, adjustable LOP, and shims. The 940 Pro Tactical has a plate to allow red dot optics compatibility, large controls, and MLOK mounting points on both ends of the magazine tube clamp. These are used for attaching a light or attaching a sling. MSRP will be announced. I bought a model with a Sig Romeo Zero 3 MOA view and started to break clays. I missed one bird once because I was too busy jaw-jacking, not paying attention to it. Mossberg’s autoloading shotguns have been my favorite for many years. I am always amazed at how easy they are to use, point, shoot, and operate, while costing half the price of comparable competition. Mossberg is a well-known firearms manufacturer for hunters.
