If your phone is dead, the SLIM+1200 can be used to charge it. There is no documentation as to how many charges you can get. I would count on one charge. This should still allow you to use the flashlight. A magnetic pocket clip lets you attach it to a pocket, or stick it on a metal surface to make it easier to use.
