Things have improved since Ruger’s acquisition of Marlin Firearms. The model 1895 SBL, a Ruger-built Marlin, is being praised by some as the best-built large-caliber lever gun in Marlin’s history. John Snow, Outdoor Life’s reviewer, said that the 1895 SBL was used on a successful hunt. “The Marlin 1895 SBL is the first rifle to leave the gates since Marlin was acquired from Ruger. After… taking it hunting, I am sighing of relief. Ruger has done the right thing by Marlin, making the best lever-actions Marlin has ever seen. Ruger has successfully reincarnated Marlin’s legacy as a modern gun company. The 1895 SBL has a long scope rail, threaded muzzle “suppressor-ready”, and enhanced finish on stock and fore-end. This Press Head is made from solid 416 Stainless Stell and features precision cut threads, an integral detent/track system, seven threaded handles, and seven position. Creedmoor states that a machined stainless steel head is better than one made from cast iron. This allows for tighter tolerances and a better surface finish. It also makes the product more appealing to our customers. The Creedmoor enhanced press head has a premium finish that resists corrosion and wear and features a superior thread quality. This press head is precision-machined to ensure flatness on both the upper and lower surfaces of the Redding T-7, which is already a great turret presses. Creedmoor Sports now offers the Enhanced Press Head for $179.95. This semi-auto rimfire rifle is easily removed and can be stored in a backpack for easy access. They retain a classic look. The six-chamber cylinder rotates smoothly and is well fitted. This DA/SA revolver has a spurred hammer. The rear sight adjusts for windage and elevation. An 8.5? The new 3?-bbl Python is 8.5? For added strength, the new Python has more steel in its frame. Colt has relaunched the Python revolver after a more than twenty-year production halt.
