New PWS UXR – Change Calibers Using Quick Component Swap

PWS (Primary Weapons Systems) has just launched a radical new tactical weapon, the UXR. This revolutionary, unique rifle allows users to quickly change chamberings with just three parts: the barrel, magwell and bolt head. The UXR platform is initially available in 5.56×45,.300 BLK and 8.6 BLK variations. Later this year it will also be available with.308 Win or.308 BLK. True Pearce from GunsAmerica Digest tests the new PWS PXR:The UXR rifle features a unique Xchange system that is currently pending patent. The UXR upper receiver is the only serialized component of the system, allowing the shooter to easily switch from caliber to calibre. The UXR is a flexible weapon, with many customizable features, including a buttstock that can be folded left or right, a cheek plate that can be adjusted, ambidextrous selector switches, magazine releases, and even the charging handles. The UXR platform features a proprietary “modified-long-stroke piston system”, which allows the rifles to run reliably regardless of caliber with any UXR Barrels. This internal system allows users to swap barrels and calibers without having to adjust the gas systems each time. The newly-designed Bore Evacuator also reduces backpressure, especially when using a suppressor, making the UXR an excellent choice for suppressed firing. For more information on the UXR, visit Primaryweapons.com/firearms/uxr. PWS will showcase the UXR at the Industry Day at the Range, which will take place on January 22, 2024. It will also be featured at SHOT Show in 2024.
