Nexbelt adds two new products to its Gun Belt Lineup

We recently gave you a detailed look at Nexbelt and our thoughts about it. We have been keeping an eye on Nexbelt for any new products. The NTAC-45 EDC collaboration and Safariland Nylon EDC are similar to the two new Nexbelt gun belt offerings. Each serves a purpose. One is for range or duty, the other is for daily wear.

Two new additions to the Nexbelt Gun Belt Lineup

The NTAC-45 EDC was designed with IDPA and USPSA in mind. The belt is 1.75 inches wide and takes Nexbelt technology one step further. The NTAC-45 EDC uses two tracks instead of the single-track ratcheting system. Two push button buckle releases and two locking mechanisms ensure a secure lockup.

Each button of the two-button lockup functions independently from the other. This prevents accidental buckle removal in extreme situations and a run-and gun course of fire. The belt can also secure more equipment and provide excellent support. The 1.75-inch buckle is also more comfortable and will not get in the way of gear.

The 1.5-inch Safariland Safariland L930 nylon EDC is based on Nexbelt’s Supreme line, but with some aesthetic differences. The L930 has the Safariland “S”, debossed in lower right corner. The corners are chamfered for a clean look and easy wear. The belt is not only intended for firearm industry use, but it can also be used to attach tactical or technical equipment and tools.

High-density nylon is a high-quality composite of ultrafine polyester that provides outstanding stiffness and durability. The belt has a water-repellent lining to prevent sweat from seeping through the belt and staining it. The L930, unlike the NTAC-45, has a single-track ratcheting mechanism and a single locking mechanism. This is sufficient for everyday wear and concealed carry.

Editor’s Note:

One of the most important things to consider when choosing a holster is how it fits around the body. A holster is only as good the belt it is on. Your holster will not hug your body as well if it isn’t attached to a sturdy belt. It would be unfair to put the blame on the holster.

If you plan on carrying concealed, it doesn’t matter if it’s Nexbelt or any other manufacturer, a good belt is essential. It should be strong and have a strong buckle. There are many great gun belts available, but my Nexbelt has been a great choice. It is strong and secure with a strong buckle, but it is also discreet and very easy to adjust.
