NRL22X & NRL22X – Fun and challenging Rimfire Tactical Series

September 16, 2021. The National Rifle League (NRL), started sponsoring major centerfire tactical matches similar to PRS competitions. The NRL launched a.22 LR Rimfire series called NRL22. The NRL22 Rimfire discipline has been a huge success. Rimfire guns are easy to use and the ammo is affordable. NRL22 matches are very popular and have attracted up to 200 rimfire competitors. NRL22X is the companion rimfire long range series. NRL22X and NRL22X are available at NRL22.org. NRL22X is a great way for competition shooting to be started at a low cost. There are five (5) classes available: Open, Base (for ladies), Ladies, Young Guns (8-16), and Air Rifle. Base Class is for budget-minded shooters. The MSRP of Optic and Rifle may not exceed $1200.00. For example, you could spend $700 on rifle and $500 on scope. This makes the sport affordable. There are no price limits for Optic and Rifle in the Ladies, Youth, or Open Classes. To find an NRL22X match near you, visit NRL22.org. NRL22X matches are also sponsored by the NRL. These matches are more difficult because they require travel over longer distances. The XLR Rimfire Rumble will be held in Grand Junction Colorado on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Two videos from Long Range Shooters of Utah show footage from the NRL22 Rimfire Competition Series’ January 2019 course of fire. The lower video shows the snow-capped hills. This commentary will explain how competitors set their shooting positions. How to Participate In NRL22/OR NRL22X

NRL 22 aims to make Precision Rifle Competitions more accessible to all communities. Nearly all localities have access at least to 100-yard ranges, and most shooters own a.22 LR gun. The NRL22 program allows matches to be hosted at any facility with a 100 yard range. Participants can then attend the National Championship by attending local NRL22 events. NRL22 began with four classes: Open, Base and Ladies. Air Rifle is now the fifth class. Over 700 shooters attended NRL22 matches during the 2018/2019 Competition Season. The NRL22 anticipates significant growth in the 2019/2020 Competition Season and is eager to welcome new members.
